Hartlepool Festival of Illustration

Last week I was part of the best illustration festival i've attended.   Hartlepool Festival of Illustration, in the north east, England.  The Festival was a 3 day event running over from the 4th till 6th, with the exhibition in the Hartlepool Art Gallery, open till the 4th of july.  The Festival involved a symposium, market, talks, workshops and the excellent exhibition which is still open to the 4th July and well worth visiting.  Over the 3 days there was some excellent talks by well known illustrators, such as Chris Riddell, John McCrea, Dan Mumford, Tom J Newelle, Owen Davey and the Brothers of the Stripe.
